The following are just a sample of the instrumentation we have to perform complete building
and mechanical system diagnostics.


The “Duct Blaster” is an important diagnostic tool that allows us to pressurize a duct system and determine its leakage rate. We also utilize a fog machine to easily locate the leaks for repair.  

Airflow hoods are a vital measuring device that will tell us the exact amount of air flowing from a register or grille.  

True Flow grids can be placed in normal filter rack to tell us the actual air flowing through the equipment.  

This micro manometer with the appropriate pickup tube allows us to determine the airflow in very large ducts or areas that are not accessible with other instruments.  

The “Blower Door” gives us the ability to pressurize and test an entire home to determine the locations and amounts of leakage. This is an excellent diagnostic tool for energy analysis.  

State of the art Thermal Imaging.

Our thermal imaging camera allows us to see temperature differentials of different materials that will reveal the presence of moisture or air leakage.

This is an extremely effective tool for moisture detection when there is a mold incident or concern.

 

The YES-205 multi function indoor air quality monitor can measure and record temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide levels for an extended period of time. This helps determine if there are any specific trends happening in a home or office.

 

The TSI “Dust Trak” is an extremely effective tool for diagnosing problems related to excessive dust problems. This instrument is also capable of being left at a site to data log dust levels over an extended period of time.

 

The RAE Systems “ppbRAE” is one of the most sophisticated handheld photoionzation detectors available. It is capable of detecting volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) which are prime indoor air quality contaminants. This instrument is also capable of being left at a site to data log VOC levels over an extended period of time.
